Kira is the Co-director and choreographer for the Kismet Dancers of Miami, the longest established dance company in South Florida! Whether wanting to improve your technical skills, or learn choreography, Kira teaches students at various levels of ability. As a dance coach, her technical skills inspire even the most seasoned of dancers. A renowned performer of the Turkish and Egyptian styles of dance, her classes cover aspects of cabaret and folkloric styles of dance! Kira's class will cover the folkloric and cabaret styles of dance with traditional and contemporary elements. The importance of proper body alignment and dynamics when dancing will be strongly stressed during the class. The student will be able to progress to a more advanced level. Choreographies are taught. Kira is pleased and excited to be working with long time friend and well known belly dancer, Salomae at this beautiful new studio, which will specialize in belly dance and feature the best that belly dance has to offer.

Kira is the Co-director and choreographer for the Kismet Dancers of Miami, the longest established dance company in South Florida and has been the recipient of two lifetime achievement awards! Kira's class will cover the folkloric and cabaret styles of Turkish and Egyptian dance with traditional and contemporary elements. She and long time friend, Salomae, co-teach this wonderful class, and are very proud to be able to continue to bring this dance into the Dade County Public School System. This wonderful new belly dance class will focus on basic stretches & isolation exercises that will enable the student to develop good isolation techniques for strong torso, abdominal and hip movements. These exercises will enable the student to develop hip articulation, hand and arm coordination, which will ultimately lead to dance combinations. A performer/choreographer of Egyptian & Turkish bellydance, Kira's class will cover the folkloric and cabaret styles of dance with traditional and contemporary elements. The importance of proper body alignment and dynamics when dancing will be strongly stressed during the class. This complete 8 week session will enable the student to progress to a more advanced level. Choreographies are taught. Kira is pleased and excited to be included on the teaching staff at this well-established and beautiful theatrical school, most recently featured in Aventura Lifestyles Magazine, which has produced so many successful new artists!
