Saturday Mornings (Level II) 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

These classes are geared to beginner and intermediate students. The importance of proper posture and basic stretches are stressed as the beginning or intermediate student will develop a stronger and more flexible body which make a healthier body and a better dancer. Students will be taught to work with veils and cymbals, and will become familiar with various styles of music. Kira and Kahreen teach during every class, students are taught proper isolations, shimmies, and awareness of music. Basic steps, combinations, and choreographies will be taught. Students who become proficient in these classes and this style, are eventually encouraged to join the advanced (dance company) class taught by Kira, and are encouraged to perform.

These classes offer the student the chance to study under two different instructors! Kahreen and Kira, both teach during every one of these classes - giving the student the opportunity to experience two different styles. This is a special collaborative event for both teachers, and no other location offers two teachers during one class!
